Hello friends! Don't know about you but I had a great weekend. I went for 3 walks and I got 2 treats! Plus I helped mummy with some gardening...well I helped keep her morale up....I let her cuddle me during her rest breaks :-)
Hey Butch and Snickers, I weigh 3.8kgs (much to my daddy's disgust!) - mummy thinks my weight is perfect but dad worries that I'm too skinny - even though the nice lady at the Vet has told him not to worry....he thinks all the femayles (well he uses another word but I'm too polite to repeat it!) are ganging up on him on this issue - ooops!~
Asta, my fav walking/running spot is around the block where we live. I can't really run around a park too much cause I get puffed really quickly and start foaming at the mouth - not a good look trust me! Mummy tells me I have a mild heart murmur and that makes me very precious so I have to be good and stay on the lead at all times. But we sometimes do short sprints together which is great fun :-)

And Billy Boo, this is me trying to convince daddy to stop working and just write messages for everydoggy on my blog which is heaps more fun....

as you can see he's ignoring me - DOH!

Anyway everydoggy c u later! Ciao.

Phew I'm back!

Well hello everydoggy I'm finally back after a busy few weeks. This whole time I've been bugging mummy constantly to update my blog. First I tried staring her down in the morning in bed.....didn't work, just got another cuddle - I think I have to work on my "angry face" :-I

Then I tried to physically intimidate her into typing into my blog - no success there either. She kept saying she had something called a "deadline" to meet (sounded scary to me so I gave up) Usually showing her my belly does wonders and she melts on my every command - but all that got me was a few scratches on my tumtum :-{

Eventually I was so exhausted I fell asleep.
However, tonite's the night and mummy is finally ready to give you all an update on what's been happening in our home since my last posting. Especially cause she now says she remembers the "damn password".

Our social calendar has been sooo busy lately. First there was that dreaded "deadline" (shivverr!! I don't think that was very "social" more like "work"), then there was a lot of celebrating. Lots of friends dropped by, dinners, drinks, flowers happened etc. Mummy and daddy were celebrating a big anniversary so that was kinda nice - particularly because all the hoomans kept giving me treats as well! Then I got to stay with grandad and grandma for a few days cause they miss me so much that I have to go see them every few weeks - they're old you know... and you have to be nice to them...,, especially grandad cause he makes me fruit salad everynight after my dinner - yummm....
Then the next week my mum's sister, my auntie came over and stayed for a while and brought a new guy with her - mum said I should stop staring and be nice cause he's her "hoosband" - I'd never seen him before and he was awfully friendly with my auntie :-} But I decided he's not bad actually (plus I'm incapable of being nasty to anyone)- especially cause he really knows how to play tug of war with one of my rope toys - that was fun!

We went to a birthday party together on Saturday night. I got roast chicken for dinner that night -yumm! and then the next day we went to the Dandenongs for Devonshire tea and a "spot of shopping". That was a fun day except the drive was a long one. (Hey Asta, we live in Burwood which is near Camberwell - so you can see what I mean when I say it was a long drive :-)) Mummy and daddy bought me a new harness and another jumper from this really cool pet shop in Olinda - I told mummy I'm running out of cupboard space but she wouldn't listen. (I'll post photos of me with the new gear soon). Oh and I got into a bit of trouble cause I tried to scoff down a biscuit I nicked out of the treats basket - oops! Mummy said I was naughty as that was stealing and we needed to pay first - but muummm they were right there and smelled sooo nice....anyway she didn't stay mad for long and even let the shop assistant give me another "compimentry" treat - lickity lick!

Anyway, after all that I was absolutely exhausted and we spent the public holiday on Monday curled up on the couch with Auntie just gossipping and doing the girly things like painting our toenails - (actually I wouldn't let them touch mine but I watched - I've decided I don't like the smell of nail polish - yuck!).

So that brings you up to date my friends. Now that we're back to our rooteeyn I'll post some more pictures and updates soon.
Ciao
